Here at Re-Nu Training, we have a range of accredited gas courses, designed for anyone upskilling as a gas engineer or even if you are new to the industry. Our gas training courses give applicants a head start in the industry, testing the knowledge and physical application of gas service skills across a variety of appliances. With the demands of gas engineers ever changing, it is imperative that best practices and standards are maintained and enhanced.
Based in Reading, we welcome students and engineers starting gas engineering/engineer courses from far and wide. Our training centre provides a supportive environment where people can flourish in their chosen field, with dedicated teachers and access to any resources they may need.
ACS Initial Assessment
Undergo assessment for the first time on natural gas appliances, including domestic cookers, boilers, central heating, gas fires, and meters. Each appliance will be added to your gas-safe registration.
ACS Re-Assessment
Re‑assessment to renew ACS competence across core and appliance scopes (MET1, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) and maintain your Gas‑Safe registration. Suitable for existing engineers who need to renew their gas-safe credentials within 6 months of expiry.

A managed learning programme (MLP) designed to address the needs of the gas industry and set out in IGEM/IG/1, delivering the core MLP curriculum to give new entrants the essential knowledge, practical skills, and competency evidence for entry‑level gas roles.

MLP plus targeted compliance modules – the IGEM‑aligned MLP combined with additional compliance training to broaden regulatory awareness, reduce on‑site induction training, and improve readiness for audits and supervised work.
